1. Who we are
Lilu is operated by Linora Studios. For privacy requests, email hello@linorastudios.com. We do not sell personal data.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use Lilu, we may process:
- Account. Email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), display name, date of birth, parenting role (e.g. mother / father), and language preference.
- Pregnancy profile. Pregnancy week and related timing, optional baby name, sex if you choose to set it, and optional estimated measurements you enter.
- Child profiles. Name, birth date, sex, avatar choices, and growth measurements (height / weight) you enter.
- Care logs. Feeding, pumping, diaper, and sleep entries you record, including times and amounts you provide.
- Notes & appointments. Daily notes, milestone notes, and appointment details (title, time, location, notes).
- Memories. Titles, descriptions, mood tags, dates, and photos you upload to a memory.
- Preferences. Favorites (e.g. games), and in-app settings.
- Device / technical. Basic information needed to run the App and keep your session secure (for example auth tokens on your device). We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking in the current version of Lilu.
PDF reports you export are generated on your device and shared only if you choose to share them through the system share sheet.
3. How we use data
We use this information to:
- Provide and sync Lilu features across your signed-in sessions;
- Authenticate you and protect your account;
- Show journey content, trackers, journal, and related screens;
- Respond to support requests you send us;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising. Push notifications, if enabled in a future version, will be described here before they ship.
5. Storage & security
Account and content data are stored in our Supabase project (EU region). Photos you attach to memories are stored in private storage and accessed via authenticated, time-limited links. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not readable by us in plain text.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures, but you should use a strong unique password and keep your device locked.
6. Children’s data
Lilu is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to use on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your country).
Information about a child (name, photos, growth, care logs) is entered by you as the parent/guardian. You are responsible for only submitting information you are entitled to provide. If you believe we have collected a child’s information inappropriately, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in Lilu under Settings → Delete account.
Account deletion soft-deletes your profile: identifying details (such as name and email) are anonymized, sign-in is blocked, and sessions are revoked. Related records and uploaded files may remain in anonymized or orphaned form for a limited period for backup, security, or legal reasons, after which they may be permanently purged.
After deletion, the original email address can be used to create a new Lilu account.
8. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or correct personal data in your account;
- Export information you entered (including via in-app PDF where available);
- Delete your account as described above;
- Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law allows.
To exercise these rights, email hello@linorastudios.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.
9. International transfers
Primary processing for Lilu is intended in the European Union (Supabase eu-central-1). If you access Lilu from outside that region, your information may be transferred to and processed in the EU (and, where necessary for support or infrastructure, other countries) with appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when Lilu’s features or legal requirements change. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be called out in the App or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
